WASTE REDUCTION GRANT RECYCLING EVENTS
The following events are sponsored and managed by the Florissant Health Division and are funded by a grant from the Saint Louis County Department of Public Health utilizing County
landfill surcharge funds.
ELECTRONICS RECYCLING EVENT
Saturday April 5th, 2025
OPEN FROM 9:00AM - 1:00PM @ ST FERDINAND PARK

Limitations
-
- Under grant funding per vehicle, a limit of two (2) negative value items is covered. Any other items are unlimited and may have a cost associated with them.
Negative Value Items
Limit of two (2) covered by grant funding. Additional negative value items will be charged accordingly.

- CRT TV’s 26 “and Smaller - $30 ea.
- LED/LCD/Plasma TV’s - $20 ea.
- CRT TV’s 27” and Larger - $50 ea.
- Freon Containing Items - $10 ea.
- Console/Rear Projection TV’s - $50 ea.
- CRT Monitors - $5 ea.

DOCUMENT SHREDDING EVENT
Saturday April 26th, 2025
OPEN FROM 9:00AM - 12:00PM @ ST FERDINAND PARK
25 ST FERDINAND PARK, FLORISSANT, MO 63031
Limitations
-
- A limit of five (5) bankers boxes can be recycled / shredded per vehicle.
- Types of boxes include copy paper boxes, banker boxes & shoe boxes.
- Types of bags include shopping bags, grocery bags and trash bags.
- No three ring binders, hanging file folders, CD’s, DVD’s or hard bound books.
- Documents will not be shredded on site. ITEMS will be taken to a secure location for shredding.
- Please remove paper clips and binder clips.
- A limit of five (5) bankers boxes can be recycled / shredded per vehicle.
All information will be destroyed in a manner to which it can not be recognized or recreated. All paper will then be recycled.
