The City maintains approximately 167 miles of streets valued at roughly $85,000,000. The Street Dept. performs basic maintenance and repairs of these streets, consisting of base repairs, pothole patching, mud-jacking, crack-sealing, asphalt patching, concrete replacement, curb and gutter repair, sign repair and replacement. The Street Department oversees $1,000,000 in street replacements/repairs by contractors each year, as well as major street/stormwater projects.
